Some suggestions for anyone helping to test our website

Thank you for helping to test the new NABO website! We really appreciate your help.

Please take some time to explore the website and gather your own impressions first, and then try out using the website for a specific purpose.

Here are some ways to report bugs or send us feedback:

If they are technical or display issues, please include any relevant information about your system, eg:

1. Type of device used (eg phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, widescreen monitor)
2. Screen size if known
3. Web browser
4. Operating system
5. Internet connection type / quality

In the meantime, please consider looking out for some of the following issues as you explore the website:

Things to look out for in general testing

• Videos without a credit underneath
• Pictures without a credit, either underneath or at the end of the page content
• Authors that aren’t credited for their work
• Work attributed to the wrong authors
• Missing / broken images
• Overlapping where it shouldn’t be, eg text and images
• Broken page layouts
• Page loading errors eg page not found, page that won’t load at all
• Slow loading pages
• Confusing navigation – hard to find what you’re looking for
• Fuzzy / poor quality / out of focus images
• Anything offensive, eg due to religious or cultural differences, translation, juxtaposition of text and images, alternative interpretations
• Text that is hard to read
• Accessibility issues of any kind
• Buttons, menus, links or other navigation elements that are difficult to use
• Factual errors in the text
• Wrong dates or locations for events on the calendar
• Inappropriate / irrelevant / inaccurate links, text, images or other content
• Broken links
• Links that go somewhere other than where they say
• Confusing layouts
• Significant omissions, or missing content
