Excavations at Nauthóll 2007 - Interim Report The excavations at Nauthóll, Reykjavík, were conducted following on from an evaluation based on trial trenching in advance of a building development. An area of about 300 m2 was opened up. The excavations revealed a stone built enclosure attached to a farm structure. In addition elements of the homefield boundary were excavated and recorded. There were also some indications of an earlier phase of activity prior to the construction of the enclosure and the structure, though these were fragmentary and not well preserved.
